10/25/06 - BJJ

Warm Up

  • Ran laps (run, roll, backwards, side shuffle)
  • Break fall (back, right, left), kick 3x's, stand up in base
Haymaker Take Down
  • Left arm up to protect your head (hand by ear, elbow straight up)
  • Left arm grabs their bicep and wraps up their arm while your right hand grabs behind them
  • Their leg should be between yours
  • Step through and hip throw
  • Take side mount
Side Mount Neck Crank
  • In side mount, they lift head
  • Your close arm goes underneath their head (far side) and back towards you, palm up
  • Get into a tripod so you can lock hands
  • Settle weight back down
  • Your close leg blocks their hip
  • Far leg steps over
  • Move head in "C", head back belly out
Roll exercise from side mount
  • Bump and push them up
  • slide close leg in and regain guard
  • As they stand, ankle sweep
  • Get in side control and they repeat
Rolling exercise from under mount
  • They grab under your head
  • Grab that elbow
  • Bump and roll to that side
  • Lather, rinse, repeat
