We started out with normal stretching and then moved into kicking techniques (Jok Gi). I need work on my spinning long jump hook kick. Especially with my left leg.
We then moved onto self defense. Mr. Willis and I started with cross grips but Losasso Sa Bom asked us to teach the white,orange, and green belts the non-standard self defense. That included, bear hug arms over and under, headlock, lapel grab far and lapel grab close. We didnt know the close lapel grab so I need to figure that one out. We were about to go over bump and roll from mount but ran out of time.
I also noticed that when I train I use the word "basically" a lot.
You basically move your hip like this....
Once you take them down you finish with a punch basically...
and so on. I need to work on that.
We then closed class....basically.
