Last night at my parent's place we worked out in the basement for about 30-45 min. My dad's heel spurs were acting up so we didn't go running. Here is a list of things I did (from memory):
Warm up - Elliptical machine for 5 min
Upper Body
- 20 pushups
- Dumbell curl - 2 sets x 12 reps
- Shoulder rows - 12 reps
- Sitting bench press - 12 reps
- Butterfly press - 12 reps
- Overhead tricep - 12 reps
- Forearm curls - 2 sets x 12 reps
- Pullups - 12 reps
- Crunches - 50 reps
- Squats - 12 reps
- Burpees - 12 reps
- Jumping jacks - 50 reps
- Skipping rope - 100 rotations
Cool down - Elliptical machine for 5 min and a little bit of stretching
I also talked with my dad about stretching and found realized that my feet are not straight up and down when I stretch. This causes more pain behind the knee and less of a stretch. When I corrected this I could feel more of a stretch and less pain.
When I went home last night Erin fell asleep on the couch so I turned on WEC which motivated me to a little more working out (along with the fudge I just ate...oopps). So I did a few more push ups, a few jumping jacks, and a little shadow boxing.
